Dental implants in Costa Rica: clear prices, independent coordination.
In-house lab • Limited lifetime warranty • Fair prices
We coordinate dental care only with providers offering an in-house lab and a limited lifetime warranty, with a focus on fair, transparent pricing. The treating provider issues the warranty. Real starting points. A plan personalized to you.
These figures make early comparison easier. They are not one-size-fits-all packages or guaranteed final prices. A licensed dentist must review your records, imaging and clinical needs before confirming treatment and cost in writing.

Per unit and only after a dentist confirms that a veneer is appropriate.
Final design and supporting-tooth condition require clinical evaluation.
Technique, graft material and anatomy determine the confirmed proposal.
Tooth location, complexity, retreatment needs and final restoration are confirmed individually.
Implant distribution, bone, restoration design, materials and surgical needs must be reviewed before a meaningful price can be confirmed.
Preliminary range based on time under sedation; the provider confirms suitability, method, monitoring and total cost.
A preliminary range; tooth-by-tooth findings and material choices control the final plan.
Why your personalized quote may change
Bone volume, active infection, extractions, grafting, sedation, implant system, restoration material, temporary teeth, laboratory design, number of visits and aftercare can change the total.
All-on-6, Mexico and Colombia
All-on-6 requires a case-specific proposal. Mexico pricing is being reviewed separately for major cities, beach destinations and border communities. Colombia pricing is also under regional review. We will not publish one national number until each starting point and its inclusions can be confirmed.
Transparency note: Prices are preliminary starting points or ranges in U.S. dollars, subject to provider confirmation and change. Flights, lodging and other travel services are separate unless a written proposal expressly includes them. Green Healthcare coordinates care; independent licensed providers diagnose, determine candidacy, treat and issue the final clinical quote.
Find the dental pathway that matches your need.
These options solve different problems. The right pathway depends on your remaining teeth, bone, oral health, bite, general health and imaging—not only the treatment name.

Single dental implants
An implant-supported replacement may be considered for a missing tooth or several separate gaps. The review should address implant placement, abutment, crown, grafting and timing.

All-on-4 or All-on-6 zirconia implants
A fixed zirconia full-arch restoration may be supported by four or six implants. Implant count, material and treatment sequence require imaging and a qualified dental evaluation.

Zirconia crowns & bridges
Crowns may restore heavily damaged teeth, while bridges may replace a gap using neighboring support. Material, preparation and long-term maintainability should be discussed.
Full-mouth restoration
A coordinated plan may combine crowns, implants, bridges and other treatment across the mouth. Ask for a tooth-by-tooth plan and the sequence of care.
Veneers and cosmetic dentistry
Veneers may address selected cosmetic concerns but are not the right answer for every bite or damaged tooth. Conservative alternatives should be reviewed first.
Bone grafting and preparatory care
Some cases require periodontal treatment, extractions, grafting or healing before final restoration. These steps can change both the schedule and quote.
A whole-body approach to dental care.
Biological or holistic dentistry takes a broader approach to oral health by considering how the teeth, gums, dental materials, infections and treatments may relate to a patient's overall health and well-being.
Care coordination in Costa Rica
For international patients seeking this approach in Costa Rica, we can help coordinate an evaluation with a dentist whose practice incorporates biological or holistic principles alongside conventional dental diagnosis and treatment.
Every recommendation should reflect your individual dental condition, medical history, diagnostic findings and the clinical judgment of a licensed dentist.
Services & protocols may include
- 3D CBCT imaging to evaluate teeth, bone, roots, sinuses and areas of concern
- Comprehensive dental and medical history review
- Evaluation for hidden or chronic dental infections
- Periodontal and gum-health assessment
- Biocompatible and metal-free restorative options, when clinically appropriate
- Ceramic or zirconia restorative options
- Evaluation of existing crowns, root canals, implants and other dental work
- Mercury-amalgam removal using additional protective protocols, when indicated
- Minimally invasive treatment approaches when possible
- Personalized treatment planning based on the patient's individual dental condition
- Coordination with other healthcare professionals when appropriate

What should a useful dental quote explain?
Compare the clinical plan, materials and support—not just one total number.
| Ask about | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Diagnosis and treatment sequence | Clarifies why each step is proposed and whether multiple trips or healing periods may be needed. |
| Implant system and restoration material | Identifies what is proposed and supports future maintenance conversations. |
| Included and excluded services | Surfaces imaging, sedation, extractions, grafting, temporary teeth, medicines and follow-up. |
| Provider and facility credentials | Lets you verify who performs each part of care and where it occurs. |
| Aftercare and complication pathway | Explains whom to contact, what follow-up is planned and how urgent concerns are handled. |
From records to recovery.

Dental implant travel questions
Am I a candidate for All-on-4, All-on-6 or All-on-X?
Only a qualified dental professional can determine candidacy after reviewing your oral health, imaging, bone, bite, remaining teeth, medical history and treatment goals.
Can I receive an exact quote from photos alone?
Photos can help describe your concern, but a dependable treatment plan commonly requires diagnostic imaging and a clinical evaluation. A preliminary estimate may change when new findings appear.
How many trips will treatment require?
It depends on the procedure, whether preparatory care is needed, the healing plan and the final restoration. Ask for a written visit-by-visit timeline before making travel arrangements.
Is the least expensive quote the best choice?
Price is one factor. Also compare diagnosis, provider credentials, materials, facility standards, inclusions, aftercare and how complications would be handled.
Does Green Healthcare provide the dental treatment?
Green Healthcare is a care-coordination platform. Independent licensed providers are responsible for clinical evaluation, advice and treatment.

A clearer way to make your decision.
Understand the treatment, alternatives and the complete care journey.
Understand
A dental implant replaces a tooth root; the final restoration, preparatory work and maintenance are separate parts of the plan. Ask which teeth can be preserved and why an implant is being considered.
Compare
Compare an implant with a bridge, removable restoration or other clinician-recommended options. Compare the same clinical scope, materials, number of visits and aftercare—not just the advertised implant price.
Verify
Ask who performs the surgery and restoration, how their professional registration can be verified, and who handles complications. Request a written plan showing imaging, materials, exclusions and follow-up.
Questions and checks to take with you →Coordinate

Dental implant prices: know what the number covers
An implant-only price and a complete restored-tooth price describe different things. Compare the same components before deciding which proposal offers value. A low starting figure is not, by itself, evidence that a clinic is misleading.
| Item | What is stated in the starting offer | What to confirm separately |
|---|---|---|
| Single restored implant | From $1,785 USD: implant, abutment and final crown, when appropriate and confirmed. | Clinical assessment, imaging, extractions, grafting, sedation, medicines and aftercare fees: ask which are included in your individual proposal. |
| All-on-4 | From $17,500 USD for a qualifying standard upper-and-lower-arch plan. | Exact prosthesis material, temporary and final stages, additional surgery and complications; confirm every included service in writing. |
| Travel and accommodation | Only travel items expressly listed in the written offer are included. | Flights, each required trip, lodging beyond any confirmed offer, companion costs and transport. |
| Ongoing support | Green Healthcare coordinates the agreed pathway; independent clinicians provide treatment. | Who handles reviews, urgent concerns, adjustments and repairs, and who pays each fee. |
How many trips will I need for dental implants in Costa Rica?
There is no single trip count suitable for every patient. Ask the provider to state whether the proposed plan involves one trip, two trips or additional visits, and which treatment happens on each. Temporary teeth do not necessarily mean the final restoration is complete. Do not assume a one-trip schedule from an advertised price.
| Stage | What to expect / ask | Timing to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Before travel | Share records and request the treating team’s identity, proposed scope and itemized quote. | Wait for provider confirmation before booking inflexible travel. |
| Assessment and initial care | The treating clinician confirms findings, suitability and any change to the plan. | Ask how many appointment days are needed and whether preparatory care changes the schedule. |
| Between treatment stages | Some plans involve temporary teeth and a healing interval before the final restoration. | Ask whether you must return, when readiness will be assessed, and what happens if timing changes. |
| Final restoration and follow-up | Confirm delivery of the final restoration, adjustments, records and maintenance instructions. | Ask how long to remain locally and who responds after you return home. |
Provider review: make the information verifiable
Green Healthcare can help you organize provider information and questions. Request the treating professional’s full name, current registration, exact clinic and responsibility for each stage. Use the relevant professional register to check credentials and ask the provider about any unresolved points. Our coordination is not accreditation or a guarantee of clinical outcomes.
- Identify who performs the surgery, restorative work and follow-up.
- Ask how their registration and relevant qualifications can be checked.
- Confirm the facility, proposed materials, clinical scope and emergency contact.
- Keep a written quote and a plan for questions after returning home.
Read our provider-review methodology · Understand clinical and coordination responsibilities
Does the $1,785 starting price include the crown and abutment?
Yes. The advertised starting offer is for the implant, abutment and final crown when clinically appropriate and confirmed. It is not a guarantee that additional procedures or every travel expense are included.
What could change my dental quote?
Findings from examination or imaging may change the scope. Ask about additional procedures, materials, sedation, provisional work, number of visits and aftercare before agreeing to the final plan.
Can I compare quotes without committing to treatment?
You can request information and compare written proposals before choosing. Ask each provider about any consultation, diagnostic or reservation fees before accepting them.
