Credential clarityVerify the treating surgeon and relevant specialty.
Procedure limitsUnderstand risks of combining procedures.
Facility safetyKnow anesthesia and emergency resources.
Recovery realismPlan adequate support and travel timing.

Compare the complete surgical pathway.

Plastic surgery travel questions

Can photos confirm that I am a candidate?

No. Photos may support an initial conversation but do not replace medical history, appropriate examination and the surgeon’s professional judgment.

Is a recovery house medical care?

Not necessarily. Confirm staffing, services, infection precautions and escalation protocols. Accommodation does not replace surgeon follow-up or emergency care.

Can several procedures be combined?

Only a qualified surgeon and anesthesia team can assess whether a combination is appropriate. Ask how duration and cumulative risk were evaluated.
