What should the plan explain?

Common questions

Does everyone qualify for All-on-4?

No. Candidacy depends on clinical findings, health history, imaging, bone, bite and professional judgment. Alternatives may be more appropriate.

Can the final teeth be completed during one short trip?

Timing varies. Some pathways involve temporary teeth and a later final restoration after healing. Obtain a visit-by-visit plan before booking travel.

Should I choose based on the lowest advertised price?

Compare diagnosis, provider credentials, implant and restoration details, facility, inclusions, aftercare and the complication pathway—not only a headline price.

01

Understand

All-on-4 describes a full-arch implant approach. It is not a diagnosis or a guarantee that the same design suits everyone. Ask a qualified dental professional to explain the proposed arch, supporting implants and temporary versus final teeth.

02

Compare

Compare clinically appropriate implant designs and tooth-preserving alternatives. Clarify whether quotes cover one or both arches, provisional and final restorations, extractions and additional visits.

03

Verify

Request the treating team’s identities, implant and restoration details, written treatment stages, recovery expectations and a return-home complication plan.

04

Coordinate

Once you understand your options, tell us what you need help organizing. A coordinator can help with questions, provider information and practical next steps. Independent licensed professionals make clinical decisions.

Ask a coordinator

General education, not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Ask an appropriately qualified clinician about your individual circumstances.

All-on-4 Costa Rica cost: what is being quoted?

One arch versus both arches

Ask whether the written price covers the upper arch, lower arch or both. Confirm how the proposed design differs from other clinically appropriate options.

Temporary and final restorations

Request the materials, treatment stages and fees for temporary and final teeth. Clarify whether further appointments or another trip are expected.

Changes and ongoing care

Ask how extractions, additional procedures, changes in the implant plan, repairs and maintenance are priced. The clinician determines suitability; a package name cannot.
